Job Description
Looking to take your Human Resources Generalist experience to the next level in a professional services environment? We have an amazing opportunity for a Part-Time Human Resources Generalist in Boston, MA! This hybrid role allows for four days of remote work and one day in our Boston office, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm.
As the successful candidate, you will report to the Director of HR, and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management or a related field. You'll have 3-5 years of experience in a professional services environment as an HR Generalist, with a preference for PHR/SHRM certification. Knowledge of HRIS systems, like ADP Workforce Now, is a plus. Above all, you should be able to demonstrate your understanding of HR best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Our client is an established CPA and business consulting firm located in the heart of Boston's financial district, with over 40 years of experience serving a diverse range of clients. In addition to audit, tax, and consulting services, we also provide litigation support, wealth management, and medical practice management.
As our new Human Resources Generalist, you’ll manage the daily transactional functions of our HR department, including recruitment, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, policy enforcement, and company culture for a workforce of 150+ professionals. You will collaborate with our People team to identify areas of improvement and utilize technology to create efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you'll provide HR policy and procedure guidance to employees and management, support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with the full recruitment cycle, and liaise with finance to communicate any updates/changes as they relate to payroll.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an individual who is high energy, self-motivated, and has the ability to work independently while managing the demands of a fast-paced environment. You must maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate sound judgment, ethics, and cultural awareness.
