Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced Human Resources Generalist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Join our team in Taunton, MA, where you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee relations, and driving talent acquisition strategies.
Position Overview
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be a key member of our HR team, responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, policy management, and HR administration. You will collaborate closely with our Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, to strengthen our organizational partnerships and ensure a supportive work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with managers and HR leadership to address various employee relations matters.
Provide coaching to supervisors and managers on employee relation issues, conduct investigations, and offer guidance for resolutions.
Conduct root cause analyses to identify training and coaching opportunities, creating and implementing training programs as needed.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing HR-related policies in alignment with HR leadership.
Develop effective recruiting strategies, establish relationships with universities and industry partners, and enhance candidate diversity.
Manage the talent acquisition process, including requisitions, job descriptions, job postings, and interview scheduling.
Source and identify suitable talent for current and future positions.
Participate in employment events such as career fairs.
Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate progress and make system recommendations.
Provide training to hiring managers on internal procedures and tools.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create compelling external partnerships and job postings.
Deliver weekly updates and reports on open positions and recruitment activities.
Support day-to-day HR operations and troubleshoot issues, partnering with other HR Generalists as needed.
Assist the AVP HR with research projects and special initiatives.
Requirements
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist, with a focus on employee relations.
