Job Description
Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is looking for a qualified and resourceful HR Generalist to support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. This position will report directly to the HR Manager and will focus on HR administration, specifically with the C5ISR group. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with managers and employees on performance management, learning and development, benefits, and HR program and development. This position will be based in our Wakefield, MA and Lincoln, MA offices, with the potential to work remotely up to two days per week.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Run reports and provide support to HRIS Manager on HR analytics.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the HR team.
  • Maintain employee personnel records.
  • Collaborate with the human resources team on HR projects.
  • Help coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
  • Maintain talent management processes.
  • Administer new employee onboarding and orientation.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: None
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: At least two (2) years of general HR experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human resources field
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Experience
  • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems, UKG Pro a plus!
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
Certifications: PHR or SHRM certification preferred
