Online Accountant Jobs

We are looking for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper or Accountant for Law Firm Velocity.

The role is much more than simple bookkeeping. Our clients are focused on growth and need accurate financial and management reports to guide their firms. Our firms want your feedback on their financial performance and trends.

Most of our clients use billing systems that integrate with QuickBooks Online.

Due to our growth, we need an additional team member with a strong understanding of QuickBooks Online.

Full-Time Opportunity

We work virtually without a traditional office. The firm has been fully virtual since its opening in 2009.

Work schedules are flexible. A full-time employee works 40 hours per week. At least 30 hours per week are performed during regular business hours. The remaining hours can be worked evenings, weekends, or during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• As needed, other responsibilities that support firm CFOs.
• Record transactions into accounting systems.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and review Income Statement items for accuracy and trends
• Manage multiple billing, management, and reporting systems.

Qualifications:

• 12 Months of QuickBooks Online experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Completed accounting 101 and 102 courses.
• Available during business hours Monday to Friday.
• Enjoy learning and managing new software tools.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, other four-year degree and 24 hours of accounting, or an associate's degree in accounting and several years of QuickBooks Online experience and financial statement responsibility.
• A secure place to work at home with no interruptions.
• Interest in learning multiple financial accounting software tools.
