As a mentor, you will have the chance to teach 1-on-1 and small group classes to K-12 and adult students, using our advanced and well-designed curriculum, all from the comfort of your dorm or home!

As a mentor at Nao Now Global Mentoring, you'll build lasting connections with your students during weekly or biweekly 25-50 minute classes. Not only will you help them advance their English language skills, but you'll also nurture their confidence as public speakers and global leaders. Together, we'll empower students to reach their full potential and succeed in their academic and professional careers.

We are currently seeking mentors who are available to work before 10 am EST, after 7 pm EST, and/or weekends, as most of our students are located in Korea. The job compensation for this position is set between $14 and $26 per hour, with the specific rate being determined by factors such as work experience, educational background, relevant skills, and other qualifications. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct engaging activities and lessons based on ESL teaching methodologies.

2. Encourage and engage students, creating a pleasant learning environment with humor.

3. Motivate students to speak in English confidently and fluently.

4. Maximize students' talk time through interactive reading passages and stimulating conversations.

5. Display excellent classroom management skills to ensure an effective learning environment.

6. Keep accurate records of student performance to track progress and provide feedback.

7. Maintain effective communication with the Nao Now team, collaborating as needed.

8. Adhere to standardized guidelines to ensure high-quality mentoring experiences.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or proof of enrollment in a BA program.

2. Availability to tutor in the mornings (before 10 AM EST), late evenings (after 7 PM EST), or weekends.

3. Excellent command of the English language and have a neutral accent.

4. Ability to teach students of all ages and backgrounds.

5. Display patience and cultural awareness to foster a supportive learning environment.
