Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our marketing & communications team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will make a substantial contribution to efforts in areas that could include corporate communications, social media, digital content marketing, and analytics.

This internship will help you acquire skills and provide you with knowledge of relevant strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

In This Role, You Will

Facilitate internal content and email campaigns

Monitor social media channels, research peer/competitor best practices, advise on hashtag strategies, draft and publish posts.

Assist with development of recruitment content, including intern and career fair campaigns

Assist with development of digital marketing graphics

Proofread digital content and communications

Support the marketing and communications team in daily administrative tasks

Skills/abilities

Strong desire to learn

Self-starter and proactive communicator

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented and able to perform quality checks (proofreading)

Works well under pressure and balancing multiple priorities

Familiar with email and social media platforms (i.e. Active Campaign, Sendible)

Passionate about content development and telling a compelling story

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva (or similar design programs)

Strong grasp of digital marketing and communications best practices and approaches

Current enrollment in a related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or recent graduate)

Location: United States, Remote

Travel: Limited travel may be required
