Land Logistics Coordinator, North America to join our Logistics organization in Houston, Texas.

The Land Logistics Coordinator, North America is responsible for independently coordinating and driving day-to-day non-bulk logistics operations in the renewable business to ensure the optimal logistics route is executed and securing Neste’s position in the life cycle of the delivery. In your role, you are responsible for

• Handling and generating transportation documentation
• Delivery quality and quantity monitoring
• Carrying out transport order management tasks in compliance with Neste principles and processes
• Confirmations
• Exception management
• Substitution of colleagues
• Coordinating, tracking and tracing deliveries
• Follow-up
• Participation in designated project and process work
• Self-leading way and responsibility of giving operational guidance (compliance etc.) to commercial operations, trader, sales/supply manager and supply chain management
• Other possible responsibilities and tasks assigned by the management
• Bookings

Being proactive in collaboration & communication to ensure good customer and supplier interface performance

• Consult / provide support for claims handling team claims specialist (e.g. compliance)
• Participate in tendering and transport planning & optimization by providing operational guidance (interface with logistics planning specialists & sourcing managers)

Keys to success in this role

• Fluency in English, both written and oral
• Ability to cope with constant changes and hectic work environment
• Ability to understand Neste business models and processes in the bigger picture
• Performance driven
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Flexibility in changing desks, covering and working according to tempo in international renewable markets
• Degree in Logistics or similar studies, and/or several years of experience in a corresponding position
• Relevant knowledge of liquid bulk logistics on similar products
• Commercial awareness - ability to understand drivers of a commercial trade and associated p&l.
• Knowledge of logistics operations workflow and efficient ways of carrying out operations
• Good and proactive communication and collaboration skills
