Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria related to business operations.
● Work with stakeholders to document project requirements and user stories.
● Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, to ensure successful project execution.
● Coordinate internal and external resources for the planning and execution of projects
● Lead project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support throughout all project phases.
● Document project status and milestones using project management tools such as Asana.
● Coordinate and communicate project progress, milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders and senior management.
● Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout project lifecycles.
● Conduct regular project meetings, documenting decisions, action items, and follow-up tasks.
● Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
● Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts, proactively managing risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
● Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and implementing process improvements for future projects.
● Actively drive the enhancement of project management processes, tooling, and templates to improve the project management function
● Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that optimize business operations.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant technical training with preferred certification.
● 2+ years Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably with a focus on projects impacting business operations.
● Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
● Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
● Solid organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Technical proficiency in relevant IT domains, such as infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
● Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations and drive solutions.
● Experience in Agile or other iterative project management methodologies is a plus.
● Familiarity with business process analysis and improvement methodologies is advantageous.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
