3form is seeking an experienced system administrator to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networks. They will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company’s computer systems. The System Administrator will oversee and support local area networks, wide area networks, and network segments. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware and responding to employee help desk requests. The System Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.

Salary Range: $65K to $100K

Role & Responsibilities

• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
• Make recommendations for future upgrades
• Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
• Perform network address assignment
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
• Monitor networks to ensure security
• Evaluate and modify the system’s performance
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
• Design and deploy networks; Maintain network servers such as file servers, and VPN gateways
• Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
• Ensure the design of the system allows all components to work properly together
• Maintain network and system security

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

• Hardware (Servers, switches, firewalls, laptops, printers, cloning)
• Zabbix network monitoring / Grafana
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Jira Atlassian Suite
• Microsoft Access / macros
• Zebra / Wasp label printers
• Google Workspace
• BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• VMware \ Proxmox Hypervisors
• Windows Active Directory
• Windows and Linux Server
• Visual ERP or other manufacturing ERP experience
• Fortinet firewalls, switches, APs
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Knowledge of networking
• Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS
• MDM
• Veeam Backups
• Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
• SD-WAN
• RingCentral Phone System
