SUMMARY:

The Jr. Systems Administrator is responsible for the Perry Ellis International G-Suite environment including (but not limited to) Mobile Device Administration/Configuration. The Jr. Systems Administrator is also to serve as a secondary Backup Administrator. The position is also responsible for mentoring the user base, driving adoption of the G-Suite tools and and keeping management apprised of trends/changes pertaining to Collaboration and their effects on the PEI Environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Management and the ability to prioritize.
• Other Duties as assigned SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Microsoft Exchange.
• Management and Maintenance of the G-Suite environment and Exchange environment
• Document issues and Create Protocols for the Collaboration/Backup Environment.
• Investigate/Troubleshoot Messaging environment issues for end users.
• Serve as Backup Exec Administrator to assist and cover for the Primary Backup Exec Admin.
• Occasional travel to other offices to drive adoption of new technologies. (5% of time)
• G-Suite Administration/Configuration/Support.
• Assist Users with issues pertaining to all facets of the Collaboration/Backup Environment.
• Mobile device Troubleshooting, Configuration assistance and Deployment for end users.
• Backup Environment (Veritas Backup Exec)
• Mobile Device Operation/Configuration (Blackberry, iPad, iPhone, Android and Chrome).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing. Should be able to lift 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be a good mentor/trainer that can inspire others to use new technology.
• Minimum 2+ Years of IT Administration experience
• Relevant industry certifications to show proficiency
• Posses great verbal and written communication skills
