We are hiring a Junior Systems Administrator for our Dayton, OH office. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Systems Administrator with installing, updating and maintaining servers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Systems Administrator in installing, upgrading, and maintaining servers and associated systems.
• Install and maintaining physical servers inside of Data Center racks along with cabling and cable management as necessary.
• Perform other duties as requested
• Acting as an escalation point for the Desktop Support team and respond to user requests as needed.
• Create and build upon existing documentation for specific applications and/or servers and versions that pertain to the System Operations department.

• Attention to detail and working with complex systems.
• Ability to develop, test and implement solutions to unique or unusual problems detected during troubleshooting.
• Skilled with building a working computer using compatible components.
• Experienced using and troubleshooting basic to intermediate issues with Windows and Linux operating systems, with command line.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent or related role.
• Capable to work effectively on their own with little supervision.
