It Administrator (Part Time)

The primary focus of this entry level IT Administrator role is to provide tier 1 support for diagnosing and resolving BlastX Consulting teammates hardware and software issues, asset management, daily administrative tasks, and act as on-site technical support. The IT Administrator will work closely with the BlastX Consulting Senior IT Administrator to support their efforts and ensure work is prioritized as needed. The IT Administrator must be available 10hrs a week with one day a week onsite at our Roseville, CA HQ office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides technical support services local or remote for problems or issues related to information technology services (applications, workstations, collaboration services, and network services)
• Hardware maintenance and asset management
• Support and contribute to IT ServiceDesk knowledge base
• Weekly on-premise review of BlastX Consulting office space, including ensuring hardware and IT systems are secure.
• Coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots incoming teammate requests (onsite or remote)
• Data entry and validation
• Other duties may be assigned to support changes with processes or new business requirements

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

• Familiar with IT Security Awareness best practices
• Experience with Google Workspace, JIRA, Confluence, M365, Zoom, standard Antivirus and Device Management software
• Experience with Mac and Windows
• Understands and leverages the most effective channels for communicating with others (internal and with customers)
• Must be local to the Roseville, CA area and willing to come onsite once a week or as needed
• Customer service oriented
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills

This is a part time hybrid opportunity. The IT Admin must be available 10hrs a week Monday-Friday with the expectation of coming onsite once a week to our Roseville HQ office.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Range: $23.00 - $25.00 USD hourly DOE
