Summary:

As a Junior Systems Administrator with Swimlane experience, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior IT staff to support, maintain, and optimize our systems, including Swimlane, a powerful platform used for security orchestration, automation, and response. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and enhancing our IT capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Automation: Assist in the development and implementation of automated solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure system reliability and availability.
• Security Measures: Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of security best practices, including access controls, data protection, and vulnerability assessments.
• Server Management: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Systems Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and security-related issues, escalating more complex problems to senior administrators.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address IT needs, coordinate upgrades, and support ongoing projects.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Training and Development: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in system administration and security, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
• Swimlane Administration: Utilize your expertise with Swimlane to manage and maintain the platform, including user accounts, workflows, integrations, and automation processes.
• Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical incidents and emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in deploying and managing SOAR platforms in an AWS environment, with a focus on Swimlane Turbine
• At least two years of systems administration experience, ideally in Linux
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and collaboration platforms
• Exposure AWS cloud services and architecture
• Ability to obtain USCIS EOD clearance
• Basic understanding of networking and SOAR products
• Experience collaborating, developing, and designing operation orchestrations with SMEs/engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Proficient in Python and Javascript development
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience
• Innovative mindset, demonstrated by the ability to build upon existing solutions and create cutting-edge automation processes

Preferred:

• Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning
• Prior government, large enterprise, and/or consulting experience
• Possesses the Swimlane Certified SOAR Developer (SCSD) certification
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Experience with the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk
• Experience with container services (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Working knowledge of one or more programming/script languages such as C/C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Bash, and PowerShell
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google, or Azure)
