Job Description

Overview:

We’re seeking qualified candidates that take a proactive approach to supporting End User devices and Service Desk Operations. This role requires a positive, consultative communicator as this will work hand-in-hand with all departments and functional levels within a global organization.


Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical support on existing resources in the cloud and engineering new solutions while ensuring existing platforms remain stable
  • Evaluate, test, and install critical updates on a regular basis
  • Review current technologies, tools, and services and make recommendations for their use based on financial, operational, and security/compliance criteria
  • Troubleshoot to detect and solve technical problems
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to a variety of tasks/projects in support of the enterprise cloud services
  • Support day-to-day operations and administration of Azure cloud services
  • May assist with cyber security investigations when needed
  • Produce and maintain detailed documentation for cloud processes and procedures
  • Analyze technical needs and document requirements for Azure environment
  • Provide troubleshooting steps and operational documentation to Level 1/2 support team
  • Contribute to providing audit proof of operations when needed
  • Provide monthly metrics for cloud operations
  • Work closely with internal team members supporting service desk, asset provisioning, Azure AD, Okta administration, and other support and service desk functions
  • Contribute to future planning, implementation, and support of emerging cloud technologies
  • Assist IT leadership with recommendations for managing Azure costs and billing
  • Help deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements


Reports to the Manager of IT.


Key Technical Skills:

  • Experience/knowledge in general with Microsoft systems and enterprise technologies (Windows, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, PowerShell, ServiceNow, VMware, etc.)
  • Azure AD… Administration, Security, Ops and Vendor Management
  • SCCM… Software updates, Patching, and Device Management
  • End user device management including License Agreements, Asset Tracking, etc.
  • Okta… Administration and Vendor Management


Education/Training:

  • Relevant college education and/or certifications are a plus (ITIL, MCSA, CompTIA, etc.)
