Summary
Under the direction of the Director – Business Applications, this leader is responsible for the management and administration of assigned internal IT specific tools and technologies. This leader will own the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) environment, manage the configuration and improvement all service management tools, assist in the administration of enterprise project management tools, and manage the overall reporting platforms used at Florida Cancer Specialists IT department to monitor and improve day-to-day operations. This Manager's responsibilities will include the following:
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of the role, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs all duties per regulatory requirements and administrative policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Lead efforts to improve enterprise service management, asset management, patch management, and project management reporting accuracy in order to provide actionable insight into IT Operations.
  • A successful candidate is analytical, has experience and interest in process improvement, is a problem solver, has fantastic communication and leadership skills, and is a highly collaborative team player.
  • Provide technical guidance to IT leadership to outline acceptable use and drive growth and stability of the IT resources managed through the assigned team.
  • Lead the establishment and administration of the overall service demand and performance monitoring strategy for the Information Technology department.
  • Develope and manage a team consisting of IT Administrators and Specialists and informally leading IT staff to improve reporting and performance.
Education
Position Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant certifications/experience in Information technology or related field
Previous Experience
  • Experience administrating applications
  • (5) years experience in IT with increasing responsibility
  • Demonstratable familiarity with standard ITSM technologies
  • ITIL certifications preferred

  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development—self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness, and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political understanding, collaboration, and partnerships, as well as positive employee, physician, and community relations.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Proficiency in SharePoint Online and OneDrive is required. Proficiency in MS Teams required. Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Good command of the English language. A second language is an asset but not required. Practical communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.
