Location: Rochester, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive

Position Summary: The IT support Engineer’s role is to provide IT support to desktop users as well as manufacturing.
Essential Job Functions
  • Support manufacturing equipment as it pertains to PC hardware
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair LAN / WAN issues
  • Support printer issues
  • Configure and deploy new equipment to company and field
  • Add or remove users in Active Directory and Exchange
  • Troubleshoot and repair daily desktop user equipment and programs
Requirements
Skills & Abilities:
  • MCSE or equivalent experience
  • Professional Customer interface and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008, Office and Exchange
  • LAN certification or equivalent experience
Education & Experience
  • 5 – 10 years in a medium to large LAN / WAN environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or combined experience and education
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend to secure cabling
  • Walking and driving to sites required
Work Environment
  • Office Setting, Computer Room
