The Network Administrator position is a full time opportunity for an individual with prior, hands-on, Network Administration experience, seeking new challenges in a dynamic, mission critical IT environment and aspiring to work with a team of professional, highly motivated and self-directed Information Technology professionals committed to keeping Consumer Cellular #1.

Responsibilities

• Strong ability to identify, analyze and develop alternative solutions.
• Some travel between local and regional offices required.
• Exceptional ability to learn new methods
• Provide support to Consumer Cellular employees and partners using excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; proactively develop, communicate and implement strategies or action plans for improving or leveraging these systems.
• Create and maintain documentation required to support the IT Infrastructure.
• Excels in self-directing, self-discipline and self-pacing to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Rotational on-call emergency support.
• Some after-hours system maintenance necessary.
• Participate in the development and on-going maintenance/support of Consumer Cellular IT Infrastructure to meet or exceed business goals for system availability, stability, security and ability to grow.

Technical Qualifications (3 + years’ hands-on experience):

• Software/Hardware Installation/Patching/Upgrades (Network Systems)
• Network and Infrastructure Security (FortiNet, Cisco, Juniper, ACL, VLAN, IPsec tunnels, IKE, IPS, PCI, Remote Access, GridSure, SafeNet, RSA token, Physical, UTM, VPN, MFA)
• Network and routing tools (Protocol Analyzers, WireShark, Spectrum Analysis, iPerf)
• Network and routing protocols and services such as: TCP, UDP, ICMP, FTP, SFTP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, NTP, DNS, BGP, VLT, MPLS, QoS, OSPF
• Web/Spam Filter (FortiNet, Barracuda)
• VOIP Phone Systems (Avaya) a plus
• Monitoring/Auditing (Solarwinds, SIEM, Splunk)
• Firewall configuration, analysis and Troubleshooting
• Security Certificate Management a plus
• Layer 2 and Layer 3 Network Design and Implementation
• WAN/LAN Network Switching and Routing (Dell/Force10, Barracuda, Alcatel, Cisco)
• Backup and Recovery/Business Continuity/High Availability/Configuration Scripting
• Vulnerability Management (Nessus/Qualys)
• Secure file transfer methodology. Familiarity with CrushFTP a plus
• PCI DSS compliance
• WAN/LAN Load balancing (Citrix Netscaler, F5)
• Software licensing and contract maintenance a plus

Desired Degrees/Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
• CompTia Network+
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college/university a plus
• CompTia Security+

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)

• Minimum Salary: $86,000
• Maximum Salary: $116,000

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
