I.t Analyst (Remote - Usa)

Boast automates R&D Tax claims by combining proprietary AI-driven software with in-house engineers and CPAs. 500+ companies in the US and Canada use Boast to maximize their R&D tax returns and de-risk their audits while drastically reducing the impact on their internal resources.

We are currently seeking an I.T. Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff, managing our IT infrastructure, and helping to drive the implementation of new technologies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Model good security and be an active participant on the incident response team
• Hardware procurement and distribution
• Assist users in setting up their Google Workspace account on their phones
• Work with other departments to enhance onboarding and off-boarding processes
• Configure and monitor MacOS and Windows MDM compliance and reporting for SOC 2 audits
• Administer third-party apps to keep settings secure, and user lists up-to-date, and prevent issues resulting from turnover
• Write and keep up-to-date system FAQs and documentation
• Develop processes and automation to eliminate repetitive tasks, alert noise, and business-as-usual work
• Research and evaluate new technologies
• IT onboarding for new employees
• Resolve IT problems promptly, with good communication, and provide a positive help desk experience
• Practice continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Google Workspace Administration
• Able to provide consistent excellent customer service to co-workers
• Expert level knowledge of MacOS and Windows, along with experience supporting common hardware issues
• 2+ years of experience solving IT problems at the highest level of support
• Able to triage requests and spend an appropriate amount of time on each request before coming up with an alternative solution
• Experience with automation using either Shell scripting, Python or other similar languages a plus
