Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor potential delays or pended cases, document lessons learned, and identify process improvement opportunities
• Initiate subsequent actions such as prior authorizations, appeals, travel, and appointments
• Take calls and outreach from healthcare professionals to initiate enrollment of new and existing patients
• Review patient data and insurance material to initiate benefits verification, identifying missing information and resolving information gaps
• Verify benefits for assigned patient cases and detail reimbursement requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two (2) years of related experience in healthcare administration, medical coding and billing, customer service, or direct benefits verification support
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (preferred)
