International Regional Director Jobs

Duties

• Leadership Development
• Assist in identifying strategic partners and locations for the launch of Joni’s House
• Represent Joni and Friends at strategic conferences and workshops, being well versed in our capstone curriculum, Beyond Suffering, and other pertinent training materials
• HUB Country Tier evaluation and ranking
• Recommend new members of the JAF International Partnership Program to the Senior VP
• Oversee the recruitment and training of International Country Coordinators, including leadership for International Regional Managers in understanding how to manage and lead those Coordinators.
• Educate and train in Joni and Friends culture, expectations, and leadership style
• Provide input and development into the following areas of the International Partnership Program:
• Gather and maintain relevant data for JAF/International Websites
• Provide Advanced Leadership and Network Training
• Partnership Strategy and Performance
• Recruit, train, and manage Joni and Friends Regional Managers
• Direct Regional Managers in identifying and vetting new members of the JAF International Partnership Program
• Assist the Operations Analyst in maintaining an updated database of tiered-level partners and their role/performance in relation to the JAF international strategy, including execution of Joni and Friends program events and other disability ministry activities
• Development of goals, objectives, and measurements for reporting and performance reviews
• Develop multi-tier approach of ranking country status relative to Joni and Friends mission and program deliverables, self-sustaining activities, and mobilized ministry efforts, leading to HUB Country status
• Other duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor to support department and organizational needs
• Partnership Benefit Program
• Serve JAF International Strategy by evaluating and advising on short and long-term success of strategy relative to the 6/60 Strategy per ministry strategic plans
• Develop leadership and training materials for equipping international churches and partners for sustainable disability ministry, potentially leading to HUB Country Status
• In collaboration with the Senior VP and Operations Analyst, International Ministries in maintaining the JAF International Partnership Program
• HUB Country Strategy for Regional Impact
• Identify and recruit according to Criteria
• Work with Development in providing relevant and current stories that help communicate our mission to donors and volunteers
• Oversee the new Volunteer Management Program per region: Development, coordination, training, recruitment, and deployment of program.
• Management oversight of Joni and Friends Regional Managers
• Serve Area Ministries and Country Sponsors by assisting with communications
• Direct regional strategic planning and ministry development
• Partnership Criteria
• Direct Regional Managers in development of country strategies within their respective regions
• Monitor and assess the progress of Country Strategies relative to our Overall Strategic Objectives, HUB Country goals, and the new initiative of Joni’s House

Qualifications

• Proficient in strategic planning and administration, a working knowledge of disability, public speaking skills, positive interpersonal skills, and effective writing skills
• Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
• Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
• International experience is a must
• Able to travel domestically and internationally
• Advanced degree or related ministry experience required

Compensation: $77,000 - $90,000 (exempt)
