Role Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and actively managing onboarding activities for new hires from offer acceptance through their first day of employment. This includes interacting with new hires and ensuring that we appropriately complete necessary onboarding documentation on a timely basis. The role will also be responsible for the on/off-boarding activities of Independent Contractors and Subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout the firm.
- Help drive process improvement projects.
- Create and maintain documentation around key work functions, providing training and mentoring support on areas where you are designated as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide outstanding support to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries around Onboarding processes, policy, and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to support various programs, processes, or initiatives.
- Liaise between HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT to coordinate laptop build and delivery are completed successfully.
- Complete regular data quality reviews and audits.
- Escalate issues or re-assign inquiries, as required.
- Coordinate onboarding and system training between contractors and the Finance department.
- Act as primary point of contact for a large contractor workforce answering questions and ensuring they have a positive experience working with Chartis.
- Execute with accuracy and high standards, the delivery of transactions and processes.
- Maintain a commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain ongoing contractor workforce and execute upon contract extensions, changes and terminations.
- Manage inbound employee inquiries, identify needs, and process necessary transactions in ADP, Salesforce, and other systems.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Instinct to establish priorities and meet deadlines both within and outside your direct control of influence.
- BA/BS or equivalent required.
- Aptitude to evaluate and implement new technologies and nimbleness to improve the team’s workflows.
- Clear and inspiring communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence people at all levels both internally and externally.
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant, project manager preferred.
- HR knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Dexterity to juggle multiple clients, projects, and deadlines at a time in an organized and timely fashion.
- Experience working ADP Human Resource System.
