GLMS encourages all of our team members to participate in ongoing education courses to both build their knowledge and help them grow in their careers. In addition to providing experienced teacher mentorship, in person classes and online training throughout the year, GLMS also provides pre-authorized education contributions to ensure that these courses can be a source of regular, personal growth as well as within the organization. Team members who complete their training courses are eligible for promotions and increases in compensation based on their current roles and future commitments.
Payroll & Human Resources Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and excited individual to join our dynamic preschool organization as Human Resources & Payroll Administrator. With four locations, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including payroll, time and attendance tracking, vacation schedules, on-boarding and off-boarding, and performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in HR management and the ability to lead a growing company to new systems and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the payroll process for all four locations
Manage and support time and attendance tracking
Develop and implement vacation schedules
Conduct performance evaluations for all employees
Support the on/off-boarding of team members
Ensure compliance with all federal and state HR regulations
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and leadership team
Provide support and guidance to managers on HR-related issues
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
5+ years of HR experience, with experience in payroll and benefits administration
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong leadership and organizational skills
