Description


SkyHop Globalis one of the premier ground transportation companies for airline crews. We provide the transportation for pilots and flight attendants during their layover periods in a multitude of cities. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate, and schedule a fleet of drivers according to airline schedules.


The main responsibilities of the Human Resource Generalist include but are not limited to recruitment, employee relations, employee morale, compensation, performance management, benefits administration, payroll, track and facilitate the employee disciplinary process and compliance with State and Federal labor laws


Position: HR Generalist


Shift: Open schedule, Weekends, and Holidays availability


Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Fully knowledgeable in local laws and regulations and ensures total compliance in line with company policies and procedures
  • Interprets and implements
  • Conducts interviews
  • And arranges interviews with hiring managers
  • Oversee tasks of job postings, and background/references
  • Responsible for new employment processing including prepares offer letters and in-processing, company and benefits orientation for new hires


SkyHop Global policies and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures


  • Works closely
  • Investigates employee complaints thoroughly and applies appropriate measures for resolution of problems


HR Manager in resolution of employee issues


  • Processes personnel actions as required and submits to Corporate HRIS for processing.

Oversee timekeeping and payroll data base activities. Assist in resolving any issues as needed.


Training


  • Ensures excellent customer service provided to external and internal customers.
  • Implements and facilitates training programs
  • Trains Supervisors and Managers in skill-based and performance-based techniques as well as Legal compliance.


Employee Relations


  • Coordinates employee social events and recognition activities such as Safety awards and on time performance Awards
  • And other HR duties as assigned
  • Assist investigations and implements solutions to any employee relations challenges or complaints
  • Monitors employee morale and encourage positive team relations. Maintains employee contact and targets a cohesive team environment.


Key Requirements


  • Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment law
  • Licenses / Certifications PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
  • May work occasional holidays and weekends/weeknights
  • Salary Exempt Position
  • Educational Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business or equivalent
  • At least years of Recruiting and Employee Relations experience
  • Work Experience: 3-5
  • Pay Rate Range (Annual Salary): $60k-85K
  • Years experience in Human Resources, Retail experience preferred
