Job Description

Title: HR Generalist

Location: Hybrid but must be in LA/ Pasadena or open to relocation

Salary: 80k to 95k base plus bonus (additional relocation sign on bonus available)

What will you do?


You will be the face of the US People team and represent the company in all things HR to internal and external stakeholders. Your day-to-day will include:


  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees, offering guidance on HR policies and procedures. Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and implement solutions to foster a positive work environment.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage the existing PEO partner to ensure all employee compensation and benefits programs run smoothly. Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary offerings and stay updated on industry trends.
  • HR Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of HR administration, including employee records, time off management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices align with legal requirements and company policies. Keep abreast of changing labor laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Training and Development: Design, coordinate, and deliver HR training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge. Identify L&D needs, and work with leadership to implement relevant learning initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process by providing guidance to managers and employees, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating performance improvement plans.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, participate in the recruitment process and assist with onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.


Who are you?


  • Perfect for someone who is ambitious and likes to take initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. A Master’s is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, US employment law, HR systems, training, compensation, and employee relations.
  • 5+ years or relevant experience in HR/People Function, preferably with some exposure to mid-sized or large organizations.
  • A people person who is comfortable being the face of the company for all things HR and to work autonomously.
