Summary
A dynamic, and diverse organization seeks an experienced “hands-on” HR Manager to develop and lead the multi-functions of our HR Department while partnering with our leadership team to sustain a progressive organization with high performing employees to realize continuous growth. From defining the HR organization’s structure to selecting the right talent for open positions, this proven leader will be responsible for administering talent acquisition strategies, implementing performance management systems, building employee engagement programs, complying with Federal and State employment laws, coaching, and developing employees and leaders, and creating “top of class” comp and benefits plans. This highly visible position reports to the President and CEO and is critical to our brand, culture, and success by leading all HR- related functions.
Responsibilities
· Serves as a trusted advisor and counsel for all HR programs and activities including, compensation, performance management, policies/procedures, talent acquisition, organizational communications, reporting (including trends and analysis) and any special projects as assigned.
· Supports new business development efforts by partnering with business leaders in organization design, sourcing initiatives, and retention plans.
· Ensures compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws. Stays current of all regulatory and legislative issues.
· Provides consultation to management on employee relations, EEO and other job-related issues.
· Manages the people impact of organizational effectiveness.
· Lead HR and recruiting professionals through ambiguity & shifting priorities, proactively managing workloads to deliver high quality products on time.
· Manages the recruiting function and serves as a business partner to multiple state operations and hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction and employee retention.
· Directly hires, trains, and supervises recruiters; ensuring recruiters are well-equipped to effectively perform their tasks and meet and exceed hiring metrics.
· Oversee the investment in effective HR and Recruitment tools and resources with proficient functionalities to enhance the employee experience to increase attraction and retention.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or HRM with 5 to 7 years of Human Resources experience
· Ability to work collaboratively across organizations
· Strong business acumen. Ability to build relationships and trust with and be an integral business partner with leadership
· 3-5 years’ experience in Federal Government contracting
· Knowledge of DCAA requirements, FLSA, SCA, DOL, and other federal/state employment laws
· Ability to travel to worksites as necessary
Desired Qualifications
· Master’s degree, preferred
· JPHR or SPHR certification
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
· Experience with HRIS, ATS, AND ADP Workforce Now
