Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions for our software company. In addition to the software development, sales, and implementation teams, our company includes a Utah-based agency that provides caregiver services to persons with disabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience managing two types of employees - corporate and caregivers. This role will require developing and implementing HR policies, administering employee benets programs, managing the recruitment process, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and comply with employment laws and regulations.
● Manage the recruitment and selection process for all positions, including creating job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
● Develop and implement training programs to support employee development and engagement.
● Oversee employee relations issues, including investigations, conict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
● Administer employee benets programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
● Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
● Maintain accurate and complete employee records.
● Manage the HR budget and ensure expenditures are within budget limits.
● Work collaboratively with other teams to support company-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related eld.
● At least 3 years experience in HR management, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and
training.
● Referral by previous employer.
● Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
● Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
● Demonstrated ability to handle condential information with discretion.
