Technical Director - Americas

Technology Director is a strategic role following broader org-level responsibilities.

Responsibilities: :

• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align technology initiatives with market needs and drive value-added selling to customers.
• Sets the overall strategy for the technology department in conjunction with executive leadership.
• Along with that, they also have the additional step-up responsibilities of Sr Managers growing into Directors.
• Contributes to revenue and margin goals by managing resources efficiently, driving process improvements, and ensuring high-quality output.
• Leads cross-geographical teams and fosters a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Oversees all aspects of software application development or infrastructure management within the organization.
• Contributes to revenue and margin goals by ensuring technology initiatives deliver business value and effectively managing technology investments.
• Sets strategic goals and ensures they are met.
• Work with industry-leading commerce platforms to expand sales outreach and enhance the organization's product offerings.
• Responsible for establishing partnerships with industry-leading commerce platform companies to expand sales outreach and enhance the organization's product offerings.
• Influences organizational goals by leading cross-geographical teams, fostering innovation, and developing future leaders.
• Influences organizational goals by aligning technology strategy with business objectives, driving innovation, and developing technology leaders.

Experience:

• Have worked with cross-functional teams and cross-geographical teams
• At least 12+ years of Technology leadership experience with delivery excellence and technology excellence in an omnichannel/e-commerce consulting capacity.
• Able to switch priorities on short notice and provide clarity to leadership and team in ambiguous situations
• Highly proficient in industry-leading e-commerce platforms and one of the Cloud providers
• Have set and managed goals for Engineering teams and have managed multiple large-scale complex e-commerce projects with competing priorities.
• Have strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in providing thought leadership to clients in large accounts.
• Able to operate with strong technical and delivery focus with ambiguous requirements
