Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This position serves as a member of the ARLIS Human Resources team and is primarily responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the staffing function within ARLIS. They collaborate with the hiring managers (both within Research Operations and functional support teams) to identify staffing needs, source and prescreen candidates, coordinate interviews, and check references. They complete other HR duties as assigned, including but not limited to payroll, funding allocations, compensation analyses, and compliance with applicable laws, policies and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
5 years’ experience in areas within the Human Resources function such as Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation, and HRIS.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches and projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong follow up, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and flexibility.
  • Knowledge of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office, Google Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other computer-based programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; love going to and hosting events to build candidate network.
  • Social media savvy and know how to source, engage, and inspire candidates.


Conditions of Employment:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.

Recruiting experience sourcing candidates for high-level clearances and technical positions in fields such as Software/Systems Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, and Social Influence/Insider Risk.
