HR Assistant
Irvine, CA (hybrid)
Top Skills Required:

Key Responsibilities for this role:
· Provide general support to Irvine Distribution Center Human Resources team through research, coordinating metric reports with analyst peers, running queries, and assisting in answering employee and division HR team’s requests
· Responsible for maintaining accurate HR Database records, including conducting data integrity audits as well as identifying process improvements and working with HR management to streamline
· Responsible for Diversity and Balanced Workforce reporting and related projects
· Responsible for SF Health Ordinance and Benefit Reporting
· Coordinate the backstage and warehouse Hiring from requisition approvals to posting for open positions via our applicant tracking system.
· Coordinate new hire onboarding, including completing automated new hire paperwork, training set-up, printing of materials, and scheduling orientations
· Coordinate drug screen process, background check process and I9 process for Irvine Distribution Center new hires
· Support and help drive other HR projects/programs such as Onboarding, Imaging, Payroll, document retention, Diversity/Balanced Workforce initiative etc…
· Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or G.E.D.
* Spanish speaker is highly preferred.
· Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint. Additional experience with other systems, including PeopleSoft, preferred. Experience in managing large databases preferred.
· Working knowledge of common Human Resource practices, including key Federal and State regulations
· Superior Customer Service Experience/Skills required
- Ability to navigate the property (75 acres) and provide tours to incoming applicants
· Experience working with confidential information
· Experience managing multiple priorities and managing various work assignments
· Ability to research issues and organize large amounts of information
· Demonstrated planning and organizing skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong Interpersonal Skills
What technology is required for this role? HRIS systems, access, MS office, Teams
Years of experience required: 4+ years’ experience of office experience, preferably in Human Resources.
Education/Certifications HS Diploma or GED Equivalent. College Degree Preferred
