Healthstream Administrator – REMOTE
Under the general supervision of the Director of Employment and Organizational Development, assists with the development and delivery of training and educational initiatives for all organization locations. Responsible for the coordination of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS): oversees system maintenance, researches and resolves issues, trains team members and serves as liaison to user groups. Responsibilities include annual education and regulatory compliance training and development; assisting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)with course design, maintenance and publishing; and facilitating other educational requirements as needed. Requirements:
- Experience with virtual classroom technology (Adobe Connect, WebEx, etc).
- Strong background or training in eLearning design, web-based design, presentation design, database design and management.
- Strong knowledge base in health education programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training and experience.
- One year as Healthstream administrator or other eLearning management experience.
- Demonstrates strong change management skills.
- Demonstration of initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- One year hospital experience preferred.
- Understands adult learning concepts.
- Experience with authoring tools (Adobe Learning Suite, etc).
- Working knowledge of API's EdTrack System is a plus.
- Experience coordinating training events.
Responsibilities:
- Manage students in Learning Management System (LMS) to include User IDs, passwords and creating student and group assignments.
- Ensure the proper use of roles and administrative rights.
- Collaborate with Information Services and Healthstream to ensure LMS integrity, accuracy of data in all reports, and determine needs for customized roles and/or reports.
- Develop, manage, track and rate competencies, assessments and evaluations to ensure training effectiveness.
- Advise Director regarding Healthstream updates and other opportunities.
- Create/Maintain efficient and accurate processes for course registration, tracking and reporting of education courses to include web-based training, instructor led, and certifications.
- Create custom alerts and certificates.
- Develop and manage courses and publish using SCORM; perform database maintenance and troubleshooting; provide excellent customer service support to end users, training facilitators, and serve as the organization's liaison to the Healthstream User Groups (HUGs).
- Serve as the hospital specialist on the LMS capabilities and train employees on the features and systems functions.
- Collaborate with Educators and content experts to develop and deploy education courses, activities and materials for the organization.
- Prepare reports as necessary.
- Trains key trainers on system.
- Manage the Learning Management System and all present and future components, upgrades, implementations and modifications.
