The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for all registration, scheduling processes, functions and staff management for the department. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, staffing, processes, workflows, physician communication, auditing, training, evaluating, rounding on and reporting responsibilities of front desk metrics. This position requires that the supervisor spend > 75% of his/her time within the work area assisting with daily operations. The front desk supervisor must be able to effectively communicate with customers, staff, management, administration and physicians to establish and meet service levels. The supervisor must demonstrate proficiency in the IT systems that affect this department to effectively manage, problem solve, and provide patient satisfaction. The front desk supervisor will maintain reports that reflect the day to day operations meeting determined benchmarks. The front desk supervisor must have an extensive knowledge of reporting capabilities and the options available for the current registration and scheduling system.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree Other Healthcare or related field
EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years Business 1-2 years Front desk experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: PC Skills required, Customer Service, Team Development, Problem Solving, knowledge of front desk operations.
