Responsibilities
CenterWell is a Subsidiary of Humana, seeking a Front Office Specialist, you are the first impression of the center. You will welcome patients and coordinate front-desk activities. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality. Front Office Specialist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately.

Job Functions:
- Welcomes patients and visitors.
- Assists patients, answering patients' questions.
- Appointment scheduling
- Collecting patient charges
- Verification of insurances

Required Qualifications
- Willing to travel to nearby clinics to help when needed.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with care and well-being resources, or ability to research and obtain information.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- 1+ years' experience in a patient-facing or customer facing position within a medical office or healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Senior population
- Knowledge of Managed care and Medicare
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR's
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Additional Information
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
