Job Description
Beauty Barrage is a full-service strategic sales management team with Brand Ambassadors servicing doors across North America. Beauty Barrage works with some of the hottest brands in beauty today and provides in-store support in retailers like Sephora, ULTA, Bluemercury, and more! As a Field Sales Manager, you will support the VP of Sales & Development. The Field Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Regional Coaches and for maximizing sales potential within assigned regions. You will be working cohesively with the VP of Sales & Development to maximize team achievement and development.


Our goal is to increase sales and brand awareness for our brands. Our Field Sales Manager is expected to be a strong self-starter who has great confidence and persuasive communication skills. It is also essential that you have the ability to inspire, as well as a contagious enthusiasm for the beauty industry.


As a Beauty Barrage Field Sales Manager, you will:


  • Execute national and regional retail programs designed to achieve incremental volume and merchandising impact, based on brands’ needs
  • Responsible for the overall performance of 5-10 Regionals and 200+ Sales & Education Specialists across respective territories
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Be alert to competitive trends that may present an opportunity for new innovation or enhancement to support overall growth
  • Other duties as instructed by Beauty Barrage Leadership Team
  • Measure, evaluate, and enact expectations for retail conditions and overall Sales & Education Specialists’ performance
  • Create and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Coach and develop the Regional Team for performance and growth opportunities
  • Manage and lead the Regional Team by exemplifying Beauty Barrage Core Values
  • Collaborate inter-departmentally to strategize profitability plan execution in each territory
  • Participate in exclusive activations (i.e., PA events, market visits, side by sides, etc.)
Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of combined experience in selling and managing a team
  • A passion for leading and influencing others
  • Previous management experience with geographically dispersed teams is preferred
  • Ability to think, strategize and present alternative ways to increase business in respective markets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence externally and internally
  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to travel when needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey market insights to leadership
  • Beauty savvy and able to represent the company culture that is both polished and professional
  • Ability to use a smartphone and keep open lines of communication via email, video calls, phone calls, text messages, etc
  • Available to work across time zones with the flexibility to follow up on items outside of standard business hours, including weekends
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
