We are currently in search of a dynamic Field Director of Human Resources to join our corporate team. This individual will possess an unparalleled dedication to providing service to our internal customers, identifying talent, and focusing on continued leadership development through support of company initiatives and strong guidance.
The Field Director of Human Resources will have primary responsibilities for a large regional portfolio of Crestline’s select-service hotels. This is a great opportunity for a current Area DHR or someone who is a Director of Human Resources for one property and is excited to move into multi-hotel HR management.
This is a remote-based position, but prefer the individual to live in one of the southeastern states of the United States. Preferred states include Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, or any of the surrounding states in that area.

A strong predictor of success for the Field Director of Human Resources will be the ability to:
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution across multiple hotels in the assigned region
- Ability to multi-task and balance many important, competing priorities
- Successfully interact with all key leaders and staff across the Corporate Office, key Field Leadership Staff, and Hotel Leaders
- Build strong relationships with hotel leadership
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide Human Resource administrative support while ensuring effective communication with all assigned hotels.
- Ensure that all hourly employee and management reviews are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Develop a strong working partnership with local Crestline hotels as well as Corporate HR –we all work together towards a shared goal!
- Develop and execute a plan to drive the brand and Crestline culture – we value each other, our guests, our business partners, and our environment
- Understands and abides by all safety protocols.
- Complete audits for assigned hotels
- Strong focus and adherence to Human Resource key success measures i.e., Employee Retention and Compliance – your ability to influence these upon starting is a foundation for success
- Ensure properties are compliant with Crestline’s Human Resource Internal Controls.
- Have knowledge of all job descriptions and SOPS.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Understand the hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a service-centric business, and a customer service-focused atmosphere must always be projected.
- Have a working knowledge of outside sources for recruiting efforts to assist the property in filling open positions in a timely manner.
- Willingly embrace last-minute changes in direction and unexpected changes in the operational plan.
- Provide Employee Relations recommendations to property leadership as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Strong Human Resources knowledge including compliance, HR Law, and other applicable laws and regulations
- HRIS and strong database skills preferred
- Strong written communication skills
- Solid 5-6 years of related industry experience -- you have been on-property and understand the ins and outs of the hotel business
