JJob Summary/Company:
Are you a Director of HR looking to join a growing organization? Look no further than this Sparks Group partnership with one of the nation's largest real estate investment trusts. We are looking for a DEI-Focused Director of HR ready to run a one-professional show.
In addition, this position offers a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work from home one day a week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of HR, including immigration/visas, disciplinary actions, and other human capital management.
- Spearheaded special projects are given by the SVP and Leadership team.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, create job descriptions, and market roles on the best platforms, including job boards, career fairs, and networking events.
- As the primary contact for recruitment, coordinate all interviews, complete onboarding including reference and background checks, and lead orientation. Ensure updated information and develop reports in ATS for all open positions.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Operations to create professional development, employee engagement, and performance management opportunities.
- Utilize the company's established college partnerships for internship and analyst programs.
- Compile all hiring practices with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- HRIS experience preferably in Paycor
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledgeable about Employment Laws & DEI Initiatives
- Effective time management and organization skills
- 10+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience in various roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with especially in Excel.
