St. Bonaventure University seeks an Executive Director for the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. This position will start in January 2024.
The QCA is a meeting place for all the arts and an active hub for the campus and surrounding communities. The QCA houses a theater, art galleries, the University’s permanent art collection, and Visual and Performing Arts Department spaces.
The Executive Director will be an enthusiastic, visionary leader – a community builder who promotes an atmosphere of transparency and welcome.
The Executive Director will model integrity and creativity for the Center and will engage in passionate, energetic collaboration with the faculty of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and the diverse campus community of St. Bonaventure University.
- Promote professional development for QCA staff
- Supervise QCA staff
- Engage in fundraising, grant-writing and marketing
- Oversee budget
- Develop regional educational and community outreach
- Promote QCA programming and increase local, regional and national visibility
- Collaborate with Visual and Performing Arts faculty on program and policy development and implementation
- Direct program development that is relevant to diverse student/faculty population of SBU

Qualifications:
- Personal and professional commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion
- Master’s degree or above in a Performing or Visual Arts discipline/Arts Administration
- Knowledge of national standards and best practices for university-based performing and visual arts
- Effective communication skills
