Job Description
Position Purpose & Summary Responsible for tasks related to member recruitment, retention, marketing, member events and service. Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Membership with other assignments as needed. Essential Functions: Process all membership applications and facilitate the new member approval process. Process member status change and resignation requests. Prepare monthly sales and membership reports to include statistical and functional reports as required by membership & accounting departments. Update and maintain Jonas Member database Create and/or update member ID cards and register them in JONAS and SALTO. Prepare and assemble all membership materials to include sales packets, letters, and marketing pieces. Coordinate and schedule meetings as needed. Create content for member newsletters, email correspondence and marketing media. Coordinate, organize and attend Membership Events. Process and log gift certificate donation requests. Maintain a flexible weekly schedule to work various hours and shifts as needed. Practice safety standards and report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Membership. Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points. Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Assist other departments with member communication efforts Create marketing collateral that is both effective and in line with Style Guide standards. Tackle new projects and requests with enthusiasm and a "Can Do" attitude. Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction. Provide extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature." Embrace, embody, demonstrate, and encourage wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments. Uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values. Be empowered to make things go right if they go wrong. Give the guest/member a fond farewell. Address feedback by utilizing the LEARN Model. Demonstrate a professional appearance and be attentive to what matters most. Comply with company policies and procedures. Observe and adhere to safety guidelines. Marginal Functions: Perform other duties as assigned. Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed. Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment. Position Requirements: Minimum Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with HTML/CSS Email Design Database Management Microsoft Word Proficiency Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar product line, a plus. Self-motivated with an interest in the hospitality, Club, Membership field(s). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Persistent attention to detail. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field. Minimum two years of marketing or membership experience.
