Director, Solutions Development | Remote | $145,000 - $170,000 DOE + Bonus & Benefits

The role:

The Director of Solutions Development provides supervision to a growing team that analyze technical and economic aspects of projects and provides optimal solutions and innovative offerings to Sales, Development, and other Engineering teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Asset Management to ensure proposed solutions achieve projected results and act as a feedback loop for future
  • Develop and propose new offerings that stack value streams to increase returns for customers and shareholders
  • Mentor team members to help them gain experience and implement knowledge
  • Lead the development of new modeling tools and development of technical standards
  • Solutions/adjustments to current solutions
  • Support Sales and Development teams with technical modeling, including use of tools such as PVSyst and internally-developed tools
  • Lead a team that develops innovative techno-economic solutions for solar PV, energy storage, and EV charging


Essential Skills/ Experience:

  • Vast amount of experience with PVSyst
  • Knowledge of C&I Renewables market technologies, specifically solar as a minimum
  • Management experience
  • Engineering degree
  • 8+ years solar energy systems experience
