Warehouse Supervisor (Level Doe)

Job Information

The Warehouse Supervisor is critical to the business' success. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management.

Role & Responsibility

• Demonstrate an understanding and align with the quality policy
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Supervise team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
• Maintain adequate staffing to maintain departmental operations
• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse; prepare schedules
• Facilitate periodic safety meetings
• Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
• Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments

Job Requirement

• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Two years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Demonstrated ability to support, follow and communicate with company safety guidelines and programs
• Preferred: Forklift Certified Driver
• Physical requirements: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Experience in an SAP environment Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics experience
