Job Summary

Provides overall strategic management of lease administration services, to include the planning, organization, staffing, and financial performance for a defined region. Serves as external and internal platform representative, clearinghouse and resource for sourcing new business and determining location of services.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Establishes operations and strategic objectives for a lease administration Center of Excellence consisting of multiple teams. Prepares, tracks and adheres to the regional platform budget.
Assists in proposal and negotiation of Scope of Services agreements with prospective and existing clients. Acts as a liaison for personnel resources throughout all CBRE lease administration offices.
Analyzes client needs and prepares game plan for addressing client needs. Prepares response to Requests for Information, Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals.
Maintains lease administration service summary on CBRE internet site. Maintains lease administration playbook and lease audit playbook.
Coordinates and prepares long-range planning for educational programs to train and enhance the skill sets of lease administration staff and provides clear career path.
Maintains standard service agreements as approved by CBRE legal counsel for various service levels.
Acts as in-house resource for balancing scalable resources and coordinating transitions.
Participates in new technology initiatives representing lease administration service line.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
Qualifications

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with Accounting, Finance or Real Estate plus a minimum of 10 years commercial real estate experience. Experience in property management, lease administration or real estate accounting preferred. Master's degree in business or law preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

CPA or CPM preferred.
Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES

In depth understanding of lease administration functions and services. Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products). Experience with desktop, graphics, and presentation software and technology.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $135,000.00 annually [or $64.90 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $145,000.00 annually [or $69.71 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
