Senior Marketing Director Jobs

Our client, a leading confectionery company, is currently recruiting a Senior Marketing Director who will infuse the Marketing Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Oversee the development and delivery of deep and actionable strategic and tactical marketing strategies that drive and support both short-term and long-term strategic growth initiatives for all channels of business

2) Develop and manage the annual marketing plan and communication strategy by providing actionable tactics and key performance indicators to monitor performance

3) Develop and manage the annual marketing P&L budget through a multi-tiered and collaborative planning process for Innovation, Communication & Branding, and Consumer Retail Marketing

4) Provide support of the company’s lean six sigma initiatives to improve efficiencies and reduce cost and complexity in process flow throughout the organization

5) Lead efforts of the Social Media Manager to achieve goals as defined in the annual marketing plan and budget

6) Lead the PR agency and Team to achieve goals as defined in an annual marketing plan and budget

7) Work with the Communication Teams to further develop the brand asset library including photography, videography and recipes

8) Collaborate with the Communication Team and E-Commerce Manager to further develop and utilize branded asset library for use across the website, monthly blogs and e-newsletters

9) Work with the President and HR to set internal communication strategy and cadence

10) Lead the E-commerce Manager to support digital brand awareness and achieve annual e-commerce sales goals

11) Ensure branding is consistent across all digital channels

12) Report on marketing communication goals quarterly with the President and Company

13) Work closely with Sales Leadership to coordinate efforts with the Marketing Team concerning

tradeshow branding, integrational tactics with PR & Communication Teams, event execution

and reporting of results to budget

14) Partner with the Innovation and Analytics Manager and Sales Leadership in utilizing

consumer, channel and customer insights to drive the development of the Innovation pipeline for

all channels

15) Provide oversight to ensure successful product commercialization

16) Work with the Innovation Manager to present progress toward annual goals on a quarterly basis to the CPG Team Company

17) Work with the Innovation and Analytics Manager to create quarterly updates on consumer Trends

18) Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all internal and external communication

channels and across all branded packaging lines

19) Collaborate with the Design Manager on all new and revisions of branded packaging design

20) Lead the Marketing Team to prioritize artwork processes and achieve timelines set by Sales Leadership

21) Work with the Copywriter to ensure brand voice is consistent across all branded packaging lines and both internal and external marketing channels

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the confectionery industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in marketing management
