Director, Applications Marketing Jobs

Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. is seeking a Director of Applications Marketing to be responsible for all Go-to-Market activities in the Americas for SMPS applications ranging from chargers and adapters to auxiliary supplies in telecom servers. • Create competitive analysis that includes a technical side-by-side feature comparison, bench testing with analysis of performance in steady state as well as corner cases that include scope photos for waveform comparisons, as well as a BOM cost analysis and review of all external components for appropriateness and potential substitution if able
• Create and execute a regional business plan to expand our revenue in this application segment while growing our footprint
• Perform ongoing market research to look for new trends or sub-segments in the SMPS space and identify new potential customers
• Be responsible for pricing strategies and provide regional pricing support to maximize our revenue and profit
• Significantly contribute to the product definition process for Infineon’s offerings (products, software, ecosystem partners, services), value proposition, and roadmap in the Low and High Power SMPS segments
• Contribute to SMPS segment strategy, and provide applications-related content for financial forecasts
• Prioritize target customer list and consistently engage with the sales organizations, Representatives and Distribution partners to ensure that key engineering and procurement relationships are established and maintained in order to maximize our penetration
• Support product marketing teams and Global Applications team in understanding customer requirements for new products, tracking opportunities for new product introductions to ensure a comprehensive and competitive roadmap

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Business Development to drive revenue and market share growth
• Strategic planning, analyzing business developments, sales forecasting and monitoring marketing trends for semiconductor products
• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of advanced technical marketing & roadmap strategy development experience in SMPS markets.
• LP SMPS topologies, IC architectures and circuit performance including flyback, active clamp, and LLC architectures
• Semiconductor processing, packaging and testing in order to understand cost implications of the products in the portfolio
