About this job:
Director of Marketing - 54 Thrones is looking for a strategic brand leader with a strong track record for growing DTC and omni-channel brands. The best candidate will be passionate about data-driven growth, brand and culture, and help us lead and redefine the body care category all while bringing a nuanced and visionary perspective to design, visualization and execution.
This position will be responsible for growing the business with a focus on the DTC channel, developing and bringing to life multi-channel marketing strategies and overseeing national brand campaigns. They will lead a cross-functional team of employees and external partners, and coordinate, cultivate and engage our communities - from existing relationships to new groups in new markets, both online and offline. This position will report to the CEO.
What you’ll do:
● Acquisition channels: Ensure we are building on our existing capabilities and improving efficiency and effective customer acquisition and experience for DTC and across all channels. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive customer acquisition strategies that result in enhanced customer experiences
● Brand: Lead a team of x to set the tone and direction for the brand across every channel. Collaborate with designers on creative projects and give final approval as well work with our designers to provide final sign-offs on creative including digital (ads, email, social media posts) & physical (e.g. packaging, signage) creatives/materials.
● Marketing Strategy: Leveraging all available data, plan and implement 54 Thrones’s content strategy, social media, brand messaging, channel strategy, & promotional strategy (e.g. retail and product launches).
● Budget & Revenue: With support from CEO and Co-Founders, you will be responsible for setting budgets & scaling revenue through all channels.
● Agency Management: Create all briefs and manage all external agency partnerships to ensure on time execution and alignment across creative (e.g., creative agencies, contractors, media placement agencies, etc.)
● Subscriber Growth & Retention: Focus on growing our subscriber community (product subscription, email and SMS acquisition)
● Lead & Manage Marketing Teams to ensure content is brand-building: including Creatives; Content Managers; Paid/Performance Marketing; Retention Marketing; Customer Experience;Influencer Agency, PR agency, & all Brand Partnerships.
● Manage Website: Landing pages, A/B testing, UX/UI are all within your domain, with the support of our Dev & Design team
Your background:
● 5+ years of experience in management scaling omni channel brands
● Background in Beauty, CPG, and or wellness
● Self-driven leader who is passionate about the bodycare & skincare category
● A strong understanding of how to bring campaigns to life through storytelling and activation ● Demonstrated strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
● Demonstrated excellence in: marketing strategy, aesthetics, design, writing, project management, social media, management skills, & working across departments
● Experience in community management with a strong understanding of how to build content, follower growth, and engagement
● Fluency in key technical products e.g., Klayvio, Yotpo, Shopify, Social Media (TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), etc.
