Fox Television Stations is one of the nation’s largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

Fox Television Stations [FTS] is seeking a senior-level business leader to oversee the total operation of our station in Austin, TX - KTBC. This position is responsible for ensuring the retention of the FCC license, maximizing profits, serving the needs of the community and enforcing the policies of FOX. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating available programming opportunities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Setting goals for each department and communicating progress.
• Interacting with the local community to see that our news and programming reflects the needs and interests of our residents.
• Communicating with FTS home office on a regular basis regarding business strategies and budget analyses.
• Establishing systems for effective communications within the staff.
• Establishing a strategy for sales, news and promotion to maximize ratings and revenue.
• Ensuring all systems are in place for maximum efficiency for the work force and expenditure of money.

This position is responsible for directly managing the station’s senior management staff to maximize employee productivity and drive results. The position requires a strong and proven leader, one that possesses exceptional integrity and skills to analyze and solve problems and make sound business decisions.
