Job Description

A national executive leadership development and coaching company is looking for a Director of Marketing to spearhead efforts to drive growth for the organization. The successful candidate is a forward-thinking leader who demonstrates strategic thinking, a commercial focus, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to foster relationships with teams. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will enhance the company's brand awareness and develop impactful marketing strategies in alignment with company objectives, ensuring long-term profitability.


Salary + Additional Benefits:

  • $140,000-$150,000

Location: College Station, TX

Type of Position: Direct Hire


Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans designed to achieve business objectives with a focus on brand building and lead generation for revenue growth.
  • Monitor, review, and report on marketing activity and results to measure success and refine ongoing marketing strategies.
  • Manage conference and event program, including generating and executing ideas for client events and conference sponsorships, developing content, and creating lead gen programs.
  • Implement brand strategy and manage brand guidelines consistently across all brand assets.
  • Develop and implement content/thought-leadership strategy by assessing key customer themes, determining asset creation needs and producing innovative and engaging marketing content such as survey reports, white papers, webinars, videos, blogs, and presentations to build brand reputation and generate leads.
  • Execute with excellence, leveraging a broad marketing mix, both digital and traditional, including thought leadership/content programs, PR, paid, and organic social media, events, web, and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Build relationships with third party joint marketing, content, and referral partners to increase brand awareness and lead gen.
  • Articulate compelling positioning, value proposition, and messaging to a range of audiences, including business leaders and HR leaders at large and middle market companies across industries such as manufacturing, energy, health sciences, technology, and financial services.
  • Manage the marketing budget and external agencies.
  • Produce compelling email marketing campaigns that educate, inspire, and drive action in their target audiences.


Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex content and concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM programs (preferably HubSpot and Soho)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • 10-15 years of related experience managing marketing strategy, program development, and execution ideally in the professional services industry such as consulting, HR services, leadership/team development, coaching
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and external partners to deliver results
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record of building compelling and differentiated content assets
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Availability and willingness to travel as required (approx. 10-20%)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications
