The contract Creative Project/Traffic Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects, while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams. Your strong project management skills and keen eye for detail will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Coordinate with the creative team to assign tasks and manage workloads effectively.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct regular project status meetings to ensure alignment and timely completion of deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives.
- Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers when additional resources are required.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify resource gaps and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Allocate resources based on project needs and team member availability.
- Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary to optimize productivity.
Workflow Optimization:
- Implement tools, systems, and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve creative team workflows and processes.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the creative team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline project management and traffic procedures.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication within the team.
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed about project status, changes, and updates.
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate priorities to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams.
The Project Manager will manage and traffic all projects within the creative dept. They serve as the hub to receive job requests, then works closely with the Creative Director to assign projects and manage timing, budget and follow thru. Responsible for high level of communication with all stakeholders, cross functional and creative teams, developing timelines for all steps of execution of deliverables. Responsible for managing the production estimates with the Creative Director, creative team and outside vendors, delivering on time and on budget.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with marketing, advertising, or digital media industries is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time.
- Proven experience as a project manager, traffic manager, or similar role within a creative team.
- Strong understanding of creative processes, including design, copywriting, and production.
- Proficient in project management software and tools for task tracking and resource management.
Location:
Fort Worth, TX preferred; open to remote contractors
Contract Duration:
6+ months
Related Professional Experience:
A strong understanding of the processes and timelines needed to execute marketing projects. A confident communicator that demonstrates a calm level head under stress when problem solving for short deadlines. Proactive, detail oriented and extremely organized.
Educational/ Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, creative arts, digital asset management or related area preferred or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
