We are seeking a B2b Customer Service Representative with dedicated and knowledgeable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Inspector to join our organization. As an OSHA courtesy Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations in various workplaces. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct courtesy inspections, sell all the Federal and state labor law posters when required and collaborate with employers and employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Assessment:
- Conduct thorough inspections of workplaces to identify potential hazards, assess compliance with OSHA regulations, and evaluate overall safety and health conditions.
- Document findings and observations accurately, maintaining detailed records of inspections, violations, and corrective actions.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Enforce OSHA regulations and standards, ensuring that employers are following guidelines related to workplace safety, health, and environmental protection.
- Provide guidance to employers on OSHA requirements, standards, and best practices to achieve and maintain compliance.
- Incident Investigation:
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, illnesses, and fatalities to determine root causes and contributing factors.
- Analyze incident data to identify trends and recommend preventive measures for future incidents.
- Education and Training:
- Offer training and educational resources to employers and employees regarding OSHA regulations, safety protocols, hazard identification, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Interact professionally with employers, employees, and legal representatives during inspections and investigations, explaining findings, violations, and necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, industry stakeholders, and government agencies to promote workplace safety initiatives and share best practices.
- Written Reports:
- Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation to relevant regulatory agencies.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including violation descriptions, citations, penalties, and recommended corrective actions.
- Research and Development:
- Stay current with evolving OSHA regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to workplace safety and health.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in safety inspection techniques.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Proficiency in using technology for data collection, reporting, and communication.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make objective decisions based on observations and evidence.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in safety inspections, incident investigation, or a related field is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (preferred).
