Job Description
At HubSpot, we treat our employees like our customers in order to give them the best experience and empower them to do their best work. This is not just a one time effort; it’s ongoing – from an employee’s first day and even after they leave HubSpot. As a member of our Culture team, your job will be to scale and innovate programs that align with HubSpot’s Mission and values that engage, inspire, and delight our employees, every day!

We are looking for a Culture Specialist to support our North America team members. This role will sit in our Cambridge office. Culture Specialists are a crucial part of our team. They manage the day-to-day execution of hybrid events, content & delight moments to a high level of attention to detail. They create and deliver events relevant to target audiences efficiently, on time & within budget. They identify creative and inclusive opportunities based on an understanding of both employees' needs and our team's priorities.

In This Role Specifically You Will

  • Be seen as a true Culture Champion, someone who has a Woo! Energy, who gets people going and excited – someone who can inspire and truly activate our culture
  • Be motivated by creativity, and constantly seek out and experiment with innovative ways to help HubSpot evolve our culture to thrive in a hybrid working environment and as we scale our business
  • Spending time listening to the wants, needs and gaps of our employees and actively work with your manager to put plans in place to fill those gaps
  • Be an authentic & engaging communicator, and drive attendance and engaging by targeting your comms for different audiences
  • Plan & execute creative & innovative hybrid events that are inclusive and accessible to all employees and align directly with our DI&B goals, with limited support and with a high attention to detail.
  • Act as the voice of North America, and our Cambridge employees, maintaining a pulse on employee sentiment and current events, localizing global initiatives as and when is needed.
  • Collaborate extensively with Internal Communications, Employer Brand, DI&B, Recruitment, HR, Benefits, Learning & Development, Management & Leadership Development, Facilities, IT, and Global Real Estate and Workplace, and local leadership to deliver a world-class employee experience
  • Truly act as the connective tissue between our employees and our culture – actively building strong relationships across all layers of the organization in North America

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Has at least three years of experience in a people-facing role, managing projects, programs, and internal stakeholders
  • Has experience managing third party vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Can prioritize multiple tasks, manage their time effectively, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Can drive scale and innovate programs, initiatives, and events that align with business needs and are supported by data.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing to both the wider company and executive audiences.
  • Most importantly, has a passion for HEART, people, and HubSpot’s commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
  • Proactively builds relationships with stakeholders and solicits and responds to feedback
  • Is independent, innovative, committed, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience for employees

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. HubSpot is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
