Partnership Support Green Shift, Climate Culture Contractor

Overview:

This is a remote contract role based in the United States The contract is expected to last six months with the potential to extend. The anticipated time commitment is 32-40 hours per week.

Rare’s U.S. climate program, Climate Culture, harnesses our expertise in using the science of human behavior to empower tens of millions of Americans to act against climate change. Focused on the most impactful actions, Climate Culture engages people where they are - watching TV, on social media, at work, and in their communities.

Climate Culture’s workplace program, GreenShift, brings simple, enjoyable, and effective climate-positive behavior change to workplaces. Developed through rigorous testing and pilots with pioneering companies, GreenShift’s behavior-specific modules, networks, and employee engagement bring value to both companies and employees.

GreenShift aims to significantly grow its workplace presence via company engagements and strategic partnerships. The Partnership Associate will play a key role in facilitating this growth. They will work closely with the Vice President, GreenShift to organize efforts to generate leads, develop relationships, provide prospects with relevant program information, and come to partnership agreements.

Key Deliverables:

The Partnership Support contractor will assist with the business and partnership development activities for GreenShift. Working with the Vice President, the contractor will work on all activities related to the initial prospect engagement through to the handoff to the program manager. This will include working on:

• Travel, meeting arrangements, and conference calls involving multiple parties.
• Facilitation of client/partner agreements and financial arrangements.
• Research and communications with prospective companies and partners.
• Preparation of presentations (slide decks and notes) in advance of meetings.
• Outreach records in Salesforce and progress reports.
• Coordination of partner/prospect calls and meetings,

Contractor Experience and Attributes:

• Experience driving projects, including tracking deadlines, coordinating team deliverables, and communicating status to stakeholders. Use of a project management tool like Asana or Trello a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a methodical mindset.
• Two or more years in an office environment in an administrative, business development, marketing or communications position.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.
• Desire to fight climate change so that people and nature can thrive.
• Excellent communicator with a clear writing style. A sample may be requested.
• One or more years CRM experience including tracking data, assigning tasks, and pulling reports. Salesforce experience a plus.
• Proficiency in office programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and slides. Google Workplace a plus.
• Proven skill in using slide decks to communicate a narrative. A sample may be requested.

Payment:

Contractor payments are contingent upon receipt of an invoice and the bill rate will not be more than $30 per hour.
