Corporate Development (M&A) Director

Korn Ferry has partnered with our engineering client in their search for a Corporate Development (M&A) Director. This is a great opportunity to work with a close-knit office in a very entrepreneurial environment. You will have the ability to wear many different hats! The ideal candidate will enjoy working with our down-to-earth team learning different parts of the business.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Assist in integration planning (pre-closing) and integration execution (post-closing)
• Take leading role in helping update, refine, optimize, or create playbooks, processes, trackers, etc
• Lead all aspects of the acquisition process including internal resources and 3rd party vendors
• Perform preliminary internal due diligence and assist in management presentations
• Research the marketplace for potential targets, evaluate targets and develop marketing plan
• Identify and build relationships with business owners in our proprietary deal flow pipeline

Skills Needed

• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter – willingness / ability to think outside the box
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of project management, and the M&A process
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and quality assurance capabilities

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Finance, or a related field
• Work Experience: 10+ years in M&A
